MP8638 Synchronous Step-Down Converters

Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) MP8638 Synchronous Step-Down Converters are fully integrated, high-frequency, rectified and switch-mode converters. These converter achieve up to 12A of continuous output current (IOUT), with an adjustable current limit (ILIMT). The MP8638 converters operate at high efficiency across the IOUT load range using internal and low on resistance power MOSFETs and proprietary switching loss reduction technique. These converters include adaptive Constant-On-Time (COT) control mode that eases loop stabilisation and provides fast transient response.
