FORTE, Mouser's intelligent BOM Tool, transforms your imported bill of materials into an industry-leading part research and purchasing platform. You can set preferences for how you want your BOM to be processed, such as currency, formatting, RoHS options, and more. The tool will even remember your preferences and column mapping for future BOMs.
Add a New Line
Mouser's BOM Tool allows you to import your data in two ways:
From the BOM Toolbar, you can add a single new line to your BOM. Enter a product number (either a manufacturer or Mouser part number) and a quantity. Mouser's matching process will use your provided options to find the best result.
Any new lines will be added to the end of your BOM.
Delete a Line or Multiple Lines
Mouser's BOM Tool allows you to import your data in two ways:
There are two ways to delete lines from your BOM.
1. Delete single a line.
Select the trash can icon on the BOM line you wish to delete. Confirm your selection or cancel. The page will reload and update your BOM accordingly.
2. Delete one or more lines.
Select one or more lines with the row checkboxes, then select the rubbish bin in the BOM toolbar. Confirm your selection or cancel. The page will reload and update your BOM accordingly.
Edit Product Matches
If, for any reason, you want to change the matched product on a line, you can select "See More Options." The line will expand with possible products based on your uploaded data.
Simply select "Replace" on one of the product options to change your BOM line.
If "See More Options" is not visible, then no other options were found for the uploaded data.
