ams OSRAM Development Kit for AS73211 with USB dongle includes the AS73211-AB5 board fitted into a metallic housing with an optical interface. The device also features a standard I2C-to-USB converter and Windows PC test software. The test software controls the converter, calibrates the sensor, and allows data logging options, including the export of results. The evaluation board includes the AS73211 sensor with an I2C interface, which filters are based on the CIE1931 standard. Also on the board is an EEPROM, power regulator, and a standard I2C interface. I2C is used for external communication, configuration of the sensor, readout of the sensor data, and reading/writing of the memory.
True Color XYZ sensor detection comparatively as CIE1931 / DIN5033 for sensitivity and gain
Temperature sensor on ASIC - AS73211
EEPROM of 4kByte, addressable via I2C
Fitted Standard I2C 400kHz – for communication
Plastic aperture (to click on board) to realize the angle of incidence
