Apex Microtechnology VRE302 +2.5V Low Noise Precision Voltage Reference is a series of low-cost, Zener-based precision voltage references. They provide an ultrastable +2.5V output with ±0.mV (.016%) initial accuracy. Accuracy improvement is possible through a multipoint laser compensation technique. Other performance improvements include warm-up drift, line regulation, and long-term stability. The VRE302 are housed in an industry-standard 8-pin DIP package. Temperature coefficients are as low as 1.0ppm/°C over the full industrial (0°C to +70°C) or hi-rel industrial (-40°C to +85°C) temperature range depending on the model and grade. This series is recommended for 14-, 16-, or 18-bit D/A converters which require an external precision reference. The device is also ideal for calibrating scale factor on high-resolution A/D converters.
