Texas Instruments AMC3330/AMC3330-Q1 Precision Isolated Amplifier
Texas Instruments AMC3330/AMC3330-Q1 Precision Isolated Amplifier comes with a fully integrated, isolated DC/DC converter that allows single-supply operation from the low side of the device. The reinforced capacitive isolation barrier is certified according to VDE V 0884-11 and UL1577. The barrier separates sections of the system that operate on different common-mode voltage levels and protects low-voltage domains from damage.
The input of the AMC3330/AMC3330-Q1 is optimized for direct connection to high-impedance, voltage-signal sources such as a resistor-divider network to sense high-voltage signals. The integrated isolated DC/DC converter allows the measurement of non-ground-referenced signals and makes the device a unique solution for noisy, space-constrained applications.
The device's excellent performance supports accurate voltage monitoring and control. The integrated DC/DC converter fault detection and diagnostic output pin of the AMC3330/AMC3330-Q1 simplify system-level design and diagnostics. The Texas Instruments AMC3330/AMC3330-Q1 is specified over the temperature range of –40°C to +125°C. The AMC3330-Q1 devices are AEC-Q100 qualified for automotive applications.
